Dr. Ayomide Ogunye, raised in Sugar Land, TX is a proud Nigerian American with a passion for dentistry and her community. She knew she wanted to be a dentist from the tender age of 10 years old, following in the footsteps of her aunt, an esteemed orthodontist in Lagos, Nigeria after spending a summer abroad. After graduating from Stephen F. Ausitn High School in Fort Bend County, she was accepted into a highly prestigious 7-year B.S/DDS program at the University of Detroit Mercy where she was able to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from one of the best dental schools in the country.
Devotion
Dr. Ogunye is passionate about constantly learning and expanding her skill set through continuing education and staying up to date with the newest technology. She has completed additional training in implant dentistry, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ogunye is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Texas Dental Association (TDA), National Dental Association (NDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS). Dentistry is Dr. Ogunye’s true passion and going into business ownership with her own office has been the most rewarding part of her journey. The most enjoyable part of her profession is the impactful relationships she forms with her patients. She is so excited to meet you!
Home and Community
Dr. Ogunye currently lives in Houston, Texas and has a deep love for traveling and seeing the world. She is very connected with her family, church, community and friends. She enjoys working out, attending concerts, reading books, spending time with friends, trying new restaurants and enjoying life to the fullest.
